Space Station Quasar is my first conceptual design of a space station. The objective was to mix existing and future technologies in a self-sufficient, complex and highly redundant space habitat, able to protect astronauts from the harsh space environment and to travel to the outer reaches of our solar system.
In my design I have tried to be as sound and realistic in the system engineering and in the station architecture as possible. Keep in mind, though, that every subsystem is subject to change as I expand my knowledge in its particular field of science, and as new ideas pop up in my head.
